Accomplishments & Honors

Chosen by the Minneapolis College of Art and Design to design the commencement system for the 2002 Winter graduation ceremony and exhibition.

Student Scholar for the History of Graphic Design and Illustration course. Aided in development of course material, led class discussion, and taught a segment on 20th century political propaganda.

Taught a class on African Protest Art in the 20th Century for Arts and Activism program. I designed and taught this segment of a series of classes and workshops dealing with art and design of political dissidence. I was selected because of my extensive research and practice in the area of 20th century socio-political graphics.

2002 Alyss educational scholarship recipient Minneapolis College of Art and Design Liberal Arts Honors. Awarded a scholarship in honor of academic excellence and merit in liberal arts coursework relating to art history and humanities.
